First gig this year back in Islington Academy for some God bothering Hard Rock!

After Draven put on a pretty good set for what was probably their biggest show so far after a last minute invite to play, Stryper hit the stage ready to raise hell! Well not quite. While their music is technically brilliant with some awesome guitar work thoughout the gig, the message they try to deliver is not really for me. If I could have turned the guitars up to 11 and the vocals down to -666 things would have been a lot better. Definitely a good night though and I don’t expect I’ll ever see a gig that ends in a Prayer again…..

As far as the photography … well there was next to no front lighting again (until we reach track 4, naturally) so opportunities for decent photos were few and far between. Next time, Jesus, shine some light down on London.

….. and the only other disappointment was that I never caught a Bible.
