As Camden hosted London’s biggest barbeque on Saturday night, Kaitee Page and her band played the awesome little venue, The Dublin Castle. Lighting was pretty good for a small venue, but as the band didn’t mind me using my flash I thought it would be perfect opertunity to get a little practice using it. Non-flash photos came out ok but the constant red and orange light was a bit boring. So my aim was to iluminate the band and keep the background ambiance… and on the whole I was pretty pleased with the results.

The performance itself was great. The sound levels seemed spot on… which was expected after a lengthy soundcheck before hand. The remaining acts had a tough act to follow after the openers performance, but I’m sure they still stole the show… I didn’t hang around to find out as after the show I had to make my way to The Enterprise for ‘Joana and the Wolf’. Kaitee’s next few gigs are in the USA… but she’ll be back at the end of the month for more london shows and some recording sessions. You might as well check her out now as I’m sure success is on the horizon.
